Every now and then I catch a conversation the twins have as they wake up from their mid-day nap. They sleep in cribs right next to each other so they have each other as company in their room. This is what I heard one day last week through the baby monitor.
A: (waking up, humming, singing the alphabet, making other soft noises)
And then finally I could hear E moan and grunt and A become suddenly social.
A: Hi, E. 'Wake?
E: Yes. Stinky diaper.
A: Stinky diaper! Yucky!
This went on for a while.
E: Sunny day. Push wagon. (This is his most requested afternoon activity on a sunny day.)
A: (Looking out the window which is closest to her bed.) No, "yainy" day.
E: No! Sunny day! Push wagon!
A: "Yainy" day.
E: No! Sunny day!
A: Jump! E and Mimi!
Succesfully distracting him from the disappointing news of bad weather, A started the bed-rumping routine they enjoy on happier days.
Here's an unrelated photo of A washing E's hands. On this particular day she lead him to the sink in the bathroom explaining to him "Sticky hands. Wash hands." She mothers him in the cutest ways and he normally tolerates it well.

These are the things that make the world go round. I love these two munchkins.
When
When
When
Am I going to see those kids?
PS. "Yainy" day. ha.
That is so cute. What great little buddies.
Just when I think I won't see anything cuter than I've seen on the blogs of some of you girls I love...this one comes along. Oh, oh, oh. Their spirits are shining through. Reminds me of....another sister who loves her brothers and treats them with tenderness and love that is irresistible. What a great binding miracle that thing called "love" is.
They are So sweet!
Those are the moments that remind that everything is well in this world.
Thanks for sharing
I don't have anything clever to say, but this is adorable. I love the little conversations; thanks for posting.
um, that is darling. that is a unique thing to twins - hearing a conversation over the baby monitor. you should record them or something!
Oh Liz! This was so sweet. I think that is just proof to add on the list of how connected twins are spiritually. They just 'are' the other one's complete half. Please share more conversations if you can. Wish I knew them~
cute and sweet and fun conversations and stories. love it.
