The Sensory Mess--Styrofoam

Sometimes in our house a mess just gets made because it felt good in the moment.  My toddlers are hedonists like that.  That soft styrofoam must have sounded special or given some sort of tactile pleasure.  All I heard was giggles and laughter as they crumbled what they found in the trashcan.  Every large lump was obliterated into a thousand tiny bits.  It's amazing how long their attention span can be when there's a sensory pay-off.
But then I had to call the game when I started to worry they would inhale the mess they had made.  Bet if felt good while it lasted.
