Our Virginia Home

It snows in Virginia and our cul-de-sac was not spared of the wintry stuff today.  It's a good thing,
This is our home.  It's perfect for us and that's a great feeling to have.
On J's first day of school on Tuesday the silver-haired, gracious guidance counselor at J's school warmly asked him if he had brought all this "cold no-thun wea-thuh" with him.  It has been so chilly.  When I asked the office staff at the elementary school how much snow warranted a school closure they all laughed and said "It doesn't take much.  You're in Virginia now."  School was cancelled today.

Congrats on the move Liz - a winter/Christmastime move - I am totally impressed. Welcome to Virginia - I hear it's lovely! Merry Christmas to you and your family :)

It's so good to see that little house in the background....and, of course, I love the snow too. Looks like the kids are having a blast. And, a cul-de-sac is great for children. Makes playing outside a little less dangerous as far as traffic goes.

It looks perfect, Liz. And you already have a wreath on your door. You continually amaze me! Good luck getting settled.
