The Merits of the Afternoon Church Schedule
Our morning three-hour block of church (from 9 to noon) switched to the less desirable afternoon three-hour block (from 12:30 to 3:30). There are definite reasons why it is considered less desirable, but this year let's focus on the bonuses. So without further ado . . .
Bonus #1. J has lots of time to get his silliness out in the morning before church.
And he certainly has a lot of it. He had us all laughing at his attempts to warm himself up on this chilly winter morning.
I sometimes want to call him Jack because his missing tooth reminds me of carving pumpkins in October. That definitely adds to the silliness.
It's nice to let him put on his show and not hound him to get on his church clothes.

Oh how CUTE is he!!!!! We just moved from 1pm to now 9am this year and I am NOT loving it!!! I know we'll get used to it, and I thought surely I would love it, but it's now just another morning of waking up and rushing out the door like on a school day. I miss the leisurely mornings!!! :(
ugh! 12:30. We're at 11 & it's BRUTAL! (funny that you posted about this today, I was planning on posting a picture of James & Jackson sitting in the foyer during 2nd hour...Jackson asleep on James' lap).
I'm so lucky to have such a positive sister.
And such a funny little (who's not so little) nephew.
