J taught the lesson.
He's pretty independent when it comes to teaching these lessons, but I gave him a new outline for lesson planning--"scripture, picture, lesson." He taught us about the faith of Moses as he led the children of Israel across the Red Sea.
A led the activity.
"Snowflakes on the Wall"--her favorite activity in our church's nursery class each week. It's a singing activity in which you choose a snowflake off the wall and sing the song on the back.
("Smile!" I should know by now not to say that to my kids unless I want their fingers to go right to their cheeks!)
