Waiting for Nana
Quiet, cooperative play which makes my heart sing after a busy day.
Why does every skit include a running/screaming moment?
On the mosaic couch downtown. This angle makes me giggle--huge head with round eyes and tiny feet.
Killing time at a trailhead.
Clever and proud. A lego vehicle with a spot for dog in the rear?
My kids think it's hilarious to flash the peace sign when I remind them that "Peace" is a rule in our home.
Just couldn't wait to get his swimsuit on.
Music lessons. It has begun.
A excels at her daily duties.
The light was just so perfect here I didn't notice how bent her pose was.
Ohhh. The siesta chair at Monticello's kids' discovery room. So comfy.
Does your hair become a lion's mane on Day 2 (sans washing)?
I love my cute kids. E was right behind me in that shuttle up to Monticello.
One day we had our twins-in-training over and they seemed up for a walk. So we sauntered up the street, along the path, and down to the school to pick up J. Everyone was so easy-going about it and I thought a photo was in order to capture this moment.

D's office--he was always up for our company at lunch.
I color coded the bookshelf in different ways at least three times this summer.
This is what stay-at-home moms do all day, right?
Way back in June on one superfun day I had nine kids at my house from four different families for about eight hours. The two youngest even got mid-day naps believe it or not.
